I left my job + November '24 reads
It's called funemployment? What I'm building, reading, and thinking.
Happy December!
Last week, I quit my job to build something.
I’m still figuring out what to build, but I am excited because:
There’s new, interesting, impactful tech that can solve real problems.
Developer Tooling (augmented with AI Agents) is the best it has ever been and is improving daily.
Some ideas I’ve been thinking about:
Automating manual processes in the biotech industry
Using AI Agents in the Security Operations Center workflows
Making it easier for enterprises to convert their data for LLM usage
Providing companies with important + non-critical legal updates
My favorite articles from this month:
Upcoming writings:
Problem Descent - new newsletter I’m launching that examines how ML + AI can solve business problems.
The first interview is with a former Google engineer whose work is in recommendation systems
‘You should start a social club’
AITX Hackathon Retrospective
Built a tool to analyze and keep track of local laws
Was a finalist + won a sponsor prize
Questions I’m thinking about in December:
When deploying Gen AI systems across enterprises, what is the value of context? How much context is needed to actually answer document-dependent questions?
With the advent of these tools, what is the future of reading and writing? What would we lose if we used LLM’s to read and write for us?
